I’m back on the island this week. I know, “Weren’t you just there?” In a word: Yes. It will be my last trip for the foreseeable future, so I’m making the most of it.
Also? I know I used to tell stories and stuff, but these days I don’t have much to say. Actually, I have a lot to say. Too much to say. Life is moving so fast right now (it’s all great — wonderful, in fact) and I feel like my brain needs a little quiet time.
Plus, I’ve been totally geeking out on my camera and I’m really trying to get a grip on Photoshop, and this place is way prettier than the little concrete metropolis I live in at home…. So I’m just getting while the getting is good. You know what I’m saying?
There are only so many personal projects one can tackle at once. This week: A walk in the woods.
And if anyone has tips on how to light meter so I don’t get that bright, hazy look, I would really appreciate it. Hugs and kisses all kinds of warm fuzzies to you.

Quiet time is good. I'm happy you were able to get away and enjoy nature and silence.
