So, last week’s attempt at posting video was a major FAIL. (I’m still working on getting it working, BTW.) I’ve searched the island high and low for the best internet connections and I’m happy to report that I have found two fairly reliable spots. Sure, one doesn’t have a lick of cell service but at this point, beggars can’t be choosers, you know what I’m saying?

It’s been a whole week since I’ve posted so I thought I’d catch you up on the happenings by showing you some pictures of what we’ve been up to.

First, things here are still beautiful. Here is the view from dinner last week at Open Mic night at Doe Bay, which, according to their website, isn’t technically a nudist colony, but they are “tolerant.” FYI- Everyone in the cafe had their clothes on that night. Darn!

And speaking of nudists, Annie is now a devout naturist. And I quote, “No pannies, Mama. No pannies.”

The dad of Emma and Annie’s favorite playmates has this amazing converted school bus that we have been lucky enough to take out on a few adventures. It’s seriously the coolest thing EVER.  It’s like the Electric Koolaid Acid Test and the Partridge Family mixed in one, but without the hallucinogens and way less plaid polyester, OBV.

And a while back I told you about Annie’s obsession with “driving” my car, so I probably don’t need to elaborate on how obsessed she is with this thing.

Other than that, we’ve just been enjoying a slower pace of life. We eat outdoors as much as possible:

That’s a geodesic dome, which might be the next coolest thing to the magical school bus.

We are getting used to the rainy weather:

We hang around town and enjoy the scenery:

And, in case you were wondering, the girls are still the coolest kids ever.

I mean, really.

How are the rest of you? I’ve missed you guys!
